But it’s not an “I just gave a good blowjob face” ? He was so worried with how Elio was acting that morning, that maybe he’d not want anything to do with him anymore, or maybe he’d regret what happened. This was more of an “oh good, he still reacts to me, all hope isn’t lost” face. At least that’s what I got from this scene, the relief of breath, the look before the smile. It was a lot more than that to me.
