I apologize for calling the anti-CMBYN crowd bad names, but I’m not taking down the post, because they are on every forum and every thread with the actors or the author or the movie spouting the same tired and grossly inaccurate bullshit about pedophilia. Most 17 year olds are having sex. Most 24 year olds are having sex. If they fall in love and want to have sex with each other, especially IN FICTION PEOPLE, then what’s it to you? Really? They’re above the age of consent everywhere, and if it’s respectful and consensual, the only reason I can imagine for getting upset is that it’s gay sex. Why don’t you just admit that you don’t want to see gay sex celebrated? Correct me of course if I’m wrong, but don’t tell me a 17 year old can’t give consent.

Well said. What shocks me the most is that these bigots are young. That doesn’t bode well for the future.

to me, it feels like a large part of the haters are very young people who are insecure about their own sexuality or sex in general and, therefore, offended by anyone their age or younger who loves and fucks freely, trying to reduce them to passive “victims” to whom things “are done to”; no! there are people (teenagers) out there who know what they want and just take it; please get over it!
