The other day I was thinking about something, the people who say that call me by your name incites pedophilia will think the same of the titanic? Rose was 17 and jack 23, so for them it should be the same?, (you can answer in tags if you don’t want problems)

I’m used to stirring the pot, nonny. It’s okay. That is a legit comparison. I’ve never heard anyone cry pedophilia over Rose and Jack, even though their ages are as disparate as Oliver and Eilo’s. 

The same for Dirty Dancing’s Baby and Johnny. She was only 17. He was in his 20s and there was never any outrage over that coupling.

It seems people only have a problem with it when it’s a same-sex relationship, and that says a whole lot more than anything they want to mention about age difference, imo.
