Sometimes I think about the significance of poker in CMBYN. Oliver plays and is good. He can keep a good poker face and not reveal his feelings, but once the cards are on the table, he is all in. Meanwhile there’s Elio who can’t play. His feelings are on the surface. Only briefly did Elio have the upper hand — after their first time together, but it didn’t take long before he showed his cards and followed oliver across town. Idk. I think poker says a lot about the difference between the two.
