AU Oliver x Elio: Somewhere in New York in the mid-nineties (Part 1). 

After hearing about Oliver’s divorce, Elio sends him a short, sympathetic note (like a friend should do, right? he notes to himself). While folding the note into an envelope, Elio decides to include a ticket to a piano concert he is going to play at Carnegie Hall. He seals the envelope before any second thoughts have time to hit him.

It’s the night of the concert. Will Oliver show up?
