Second gif: oh my word. Those eyes! This scene reminds me of the spelling bee in S1. Only this time, I find nothing cute about the way he’s looking at her. It feels so much more adult.

And whereas at other points in the season, Anne seems much more confident (see episode 10), she looked so young and unprepared here. How did she not faint?!
