You can see Oliver’s necklace with Star of David so clearly here. I remember those endless conversations about whether or not we all hallucinate this chain on Elio’s torso back in the early days of leaked screeners and grainy stills.

Also there is nothing about this scene, from the way Elio brings said necklace to his mouth, his thigh sliding up to Oliver’s crotch, his wantful gaze and open mouth to the way Oliver pulls out the belt for no reason (that we know of) like his life depends on it, that isn’t pure lust. I’ve never seen such an intense chemistry between two actors before and I doubt I’ll ever see it from anyone else.
