I think Oliver’s necklace is longer (which Elio is wearing) he brings the longer one up with both hands and the pendant twinkles as he drops it in his mouth

But but but, during the ‘Call me by your name and I’ll call you by mine’ scene, Oliver is wearing his necklace, it’s evident. Elio even pulls it tightly when he says, Elio to Oliver and during that after kiss too, he tightly nudges at it, almost choking Armi… Oliver

VIMINI. I adored her character in the book so much, her relationship with Oliver was so beautiful.
Some of the Vimini-related lines I love but also break my heart:

I think they didn’t include her character in the movie because like they’ve said many times, they wanted the only evil to be time. Although time is also Vimini’s enemy too. Introducing illness and death into the movie would have distracted from Elio and Oliver’s story I think. Which is sad to think about and I would have loved to see her character on the screen.
If anyone just wants to talk solely about Vimini for a couple of hours I’m so down.
I think I’ve spoken about the footsie scene and fuck me elio in previous asks but the teddy bear scene is not talked about enough!! It’s not one of those moments from the book I remember really well but I definitely want to go back and read it, so freakin’ cute.
Where, exactly, did Elio get this jumper from? It’s obviously too big to be his, unless it was bought about 4 sizes too big on purpose. It’s also too big to have belonged to his dad. So how did he end up with this jumper?
Who does it look like it belongs to? A big, tall guy. It practically screams ‘boyfriend jumper!’ But we know from the book that Elio has no male exes, so although the origins of the jumper will forever remain a mystery, we can at least content ourselves with knowing that he didn’t get it from an ex-boyfriend.
But who cares what we think? The important question is- where does Oliver think it came from?
The morning after their first time is perhaps the first time Oliver sees this jumper. He’s probably thinking “so we slept together last night, and now he can hardly stand to look at me, and just to add insult to injury he’s clearly wearing his ex’s jumper. Kill me now.“
