Dearest Cecilia, the story can resume. The one I had been planning on that evening walk. I can become again the man who once crossed the surrey park at dusk, in my best suit, swaggering on the promise of life. The man who, with the clarity of passion, made love to you in the library. The story can resume. I will return. Find you, love you, marry you and live without shame.
I think I figured out how to stop the obnoxious notification spam that has been telling me “[name] mentioned you” every time somebody reblogs a post I was ever tagged in, even if they never mention me in THEIR reblog!
1. Go to Account, the little person head and shoulders in upper right.
2. Go to Settings, with the gear icon.
3. Uncheck the new “conversational notifications” switch.
Reposting for others to see and hopefully change that awful setting…
On mobile, I found something that might help? In settings, the cog,
And then in general settings,
All the way down at the bottom, there’s a Labs icon.
In that icon, there’s this…
Mine was checked, & I’ve literally had 200+ notifications for two different posts that I was mentioned it, but hadn’t originally reblogged myself. I don’t know if this will help, but I’m hoping. If not, I’m headed to the laptop because this is driving me insane.
@staff, rather than give us weird random crap that no one wants & no one asked for, why don’t you do something about the Nazis & the porn bots?
My Labs are already turned off, but if this works for anyone, please share! @staff@support Please fix this glitch. New feature is malfunctioning and messing with many blogs!
Remember me for I will soon be gone. Remember me and let the love we have live on and know that I’m with you the only way that I can be. So, until you’re in my arms again, remember me.
