The same thing happened to me! I saw it in theaters for the first time yesterday and it just shook me in a whole new way… The entire crowd just sat in silence after timmys credit scene ended. I saw it with my 71-year-old grandma who worked in the movie business her entire career, she read the book a while ago and wanted to see the movie, and she was just bawling her eyes out talking about how much she loved „that gorgeous boy with the astounding amount of intelligence and sorrow in his eyes“
