Ok I’m still not really able to form my thoughts on CMBYN since seeing it last night but I’ll try:
– every goddamn shot of this movie is absolutely stunning and the perfect mood-setter, filled with gorgeous summer atmosphere and so detailed (typical for Luca)
– THE MOVIE IS SO SEXY AND EROTIC AND SENSUAL!! THE FIRST KISS WAS SO GODDAMN HOT!!!
– Timmy!!! Seriously tho.
– Armie!!!
– THEIR CHEMISTRY!!!
– Michael and the monologue at the end. It was literally word for word from the book and it made me cry just as much. He did so fucking well in the movie. Both he and Amira really embodied the perfect parents.
– VISIONS OF GIDEON!!! I was so glad that everyone stayed seated and seemed just as captured by the whole ending sequence. I was full on crying by that point.
– REALLY THO. TIMMY! I don’t know if I can say anything that was not already said cause he was absolutely…incredible?? That doesn’t seem big enough of a word. I literally can’t imagine better casting? You could read every word he didn’t say on his face and he is probably the best crier I ever seen on film.
– All in all: Luca owns this ass till the end of time!
